The Ten at Ten
Happy Wednesday!
With fall finally here, fall fashion is definitely my favorite. I love wearing jeans and booties, leather coats and t shirts, and dresses with cozy sweaters. Autumn is a great transition season where you can really play with the clothes that you have to come up with lots of different options.
Midi skirts are a great piece to have, because (depending on the material of course), you can wear them throughout the year. You can simply where them with a t shirt and block heels in the summertime. But, in autumn, throw on a chunky sweater, or a cool denim jacket and some booties and you have a totally different look!
Now, I'm all for color, I love color! But, I always gravitate towards more neutral colors when picking things out for myself. I can get tired of a certain color very easily and find that I don't like buying something that I really only want to wear a couple of times.
Black is my go to color, obviously. It's just so classic, you can't go wrong. It goes with (almost) everything, and the color is never going to be out of style. I also feel like you look so chic in black and it really works for anyone.
I've been a big fan of midi skirts lately. They are really elegant, and they are also modest, which is perfect for me when going to meetings with clients. Paired with the right top though, and you can have a skirt that you can wear out for date night even (check out that super cool leather pencil skirt below!).
You have so many options with fabric, too. Satin has really started to make a comeback (for better or for worse), and suede is a great fabric for the colder months. Check out the ones below and let me know what you think!
