Kitchens are one of my favorite spaces to design. It's no surprise that I spend time searching though Pinterest on a weekly basis, to find inspiration, kitchen design included. Over the years, we see big trends come and go, while also seeing elements stay for years to come. I always have, and will, love the color green. There are so many shades that I'm in love with, and I"m so happy that this color is a big hit in the last couple of years.
I'm laying out some kitchens you may or may not have already seen, and giving a little inside scoop as to why I picked them as my inspirational kitchens.

Marble is one of those timeless pieces, that will never go out of style. I'm loving these unique ways of using the stone!

Pastic Laminate Cabinets
This is something that even I am surprised as to how much I am loving this trend. Having my background in commercial design, I always had to use plastic laminate on cabinets for hotel rooms, or conference rooms. I thought it was boring, the same thing over and over. But, bringing it into the home really lets you have some fun with color and texture. The different size panels and layouts really make these cabinets cool.

Open Storage
This really only works if you are a neat freak-which I totally am. But how nice is this glass cabinet? It has so much storage! You could fit all of your plates, glasses, bowls, and still have room for that Kitchen Aid mixer and Vitamix blender.

Greenery
This one is close to my heart, being a big wellness advocate. I would put plants in every single room if I could! I love how greenery really makes the space come together, and adds a nice touch of comfort. Not to mention that plants are great for indoor air quality and your overall happiness! Seating and Lighting Combos
Sometimes, I think that lighting is overlooked, or something that is picked at the last minute. My belief is that lighting should work with the rest of the space, and should really accent the pieces that it is illuminating. These pendants add to the style of the space, and also create interest.
