BLACK IS ALWAYS BACK

It's no secret that I wear a lot of black clothing. It is an effortless style, and I mean, it matches and is so easy to coordinate! So if it works so well with fashion, why can't it work for our home? Here, I"m sharing with all of you some great ways to bring black into your homes.

What I love about mixing black in a space, is that it can instantly make a dramatic statement and bring in bold contrast. There's something cozy about being in a darker room that makes you want to snuggle up with a blanket and a cup of tea.

My favorite way to incorporate black is in a room with mostly white, like the kitchen shown below. I love that it really just makes the room stand out, and makes the rest of the space, especially the marble backsplash, pop. I'm trying to convince my dad to do this for their kitchen remodel. Let's see if it works!
